For each of our edits we decided to set ourself an aim:

So Our main aims were to correct any editing that we had previously not seen, add shots that were missing, add in the soundtrack and include my titles.

Firstly, we  began editing in the missing shot that was in the train station scene, as we have had many issues with it in the past few days which have resulted in adding the scene last an therefore this was too late. The issue was that it was a different format to my other shots and the format was one that Apple Macs and Final Cut does not accept.

When I did finally include this shot I also had an issue with the fact that during filming, I had not noticed that the shot goes out of focus half way through. Fortunately by uploading that part in photoshop and making that image sharp enabled us to edit it so the audience never see the part that goes out of focus.

We then added our soundtrack which was composed by Ruby. I was very pleased with the soundtrack and fortunately as Ruby, Josie and I had discussed thoroughly about what type of music we wanted in each scene, and Ruby wrote the music so it would match the correct timings, We had no issues when including the music.  After adding the sound we then went through our short film to see if there was anything wrong with the editing. One problem of which we noticed was a the eyeline match shot of the character when she is walking near the wall poster that the eyeline match did not match so we then edited it to match. Fortunately this is a mistake that is easy to fix.

We then lastly inserted our titles. As we have done previous research on what type of titles we would like to use, we already knew that wanted them to look simple in order to not distract the audience. We also decided to add different colour to the title of our film to give it an experimental feel and to related the title to our film. Because the titles are simple we easily added them from Final Cut.  We will be asking our target audience during the First Edit Feedback what they think of them so we know if we should change the layout or not.
